Continuing the ancient Norbertine tradition in the new world...
We are building a church to bring souls to God.
The Beautiful Will Save Us
Help Us Rebuild a Culture of Hope
“Who has not heard Dostoyevsky’s oft-quoted remark: “Beauty will save us”? Usually people forget to mention, however, that by redeeming beauty, Dostoyevsky meant Christ. He it is whom we must learn to see.
Nothing can bring us into contact with the beauty of Christ himself more than the world of beauty created by faith.”
– Pope Benedict XVI
Gazing Higher
Beauty speaks to the hearts of men and women in a way nothing else can, and turns their gaze higher.
When words fall short, true beauty — in the splendor of nature, in the life of a virtuous person, in the majesty of a cathedral — powerfully speaks of the eternal, and draws souls to God.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart...”– Ecclesiastes 3:11
We have begun site improvements for Church construction.
We are preparing to move forward with a Sacred Architect,
Who will help us show forth the beauty of our Norbertine tradition.
Worthy is the Lamb...
Since the dawn of Christianity, the adoration and worship of an Incarnate God has propelled man’s pursuit of the beautiful to astounding heights.
Communities of believers, generations of Christians, have raised up miracles in stone: the great monasteries and cathedrals of old that have stood for centuries.
Those who built them are gone. They may have never seen the fruit of their labor. Yet, the fruit of their work remains, and continues touch countless hearts and lead them to God.
“I wish to create a church so beautiful that it would move even the hardest heart to prayer.”– The unknown architect of Glastonbury Abbey
We are designing a Monastery according to
our ancient Norbertine heritage
of beautiful Architecture and deeply rooted faith. The pinnacle will be
the Monastic Church,
which must truly raise the heart to God.

The Dawning of Hope
A new dawn is rising in America. And it is a dawn of hope.
In the mountains of California, the “world of beauty” which faith has so masterfully crafted in the past, is being carried on.
The fruit of faith is being built into the soil of the land, into the curves of the hills, and into the hearts of a community.
The monastery that will rise will stand for generations. It will witness countless hours of prayer, sung with the ancient chant of the Liturgy. It will perhaps see the dawning of the last day. And it will stand, a worthy tabernacle to shelter God on earth and to lead souls to Him.
“What is capable of restoring enthusiasm and confidence, what can encourage the human spirit to rediscover its path, to raise its eyes on the horizon, to dream of a life worthy of its vocation if not beauty?”– Pope Francis
Great Monasteries,
built by communities of Christian souls,
are not a thing of the past.
The Sacrifice of One Day’s Wage
Few are able to physically participate in the building of a monastery.
Yet, by offering the wages of one day of work, or what you discern God is calling you to offer, your contribution is a very real way that you can place a stone in the edifice of this house for God.
You can make a truly impactful contribution to this construction and, with our friends and family throughout the world, help us rebuild a culture of hope.
Sacrifice with us in giving one day wage.
“The way of beauty can open the pathway for the search for God, and dispose the heart and spirit to meet Christ, who is the Beauty of Holiness Incarnate, offered by God to men for their salvation.”– Pontifical Council for Culture
Each Sister has made the sacrifice of her entire life
For the Glory of God
and the salvation of souls.
Your sacrifice of One Day’s Wage is a real way of joining them
to rebuild a culture of hope.
We invite you to discern if God is calling you to help us build
for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
“Being struck and overcome by the beauty of Christ is a more real, more profound knowledge than mere rational deduction. To disdain or to reject the encounter with beauty as a true form of knowledge would impoverish us and dry up our faith and our theology. We must rediscover this form of knowledge; it is a pressing need of our time.”
– Pope Benedict XVI
